Roshani Shrestha is the President of Didi Bahini Samaj Victoria (DBSV), where she provides leadership focused on empowering Nepali women and strengthening community connections across Victoria. She is committed to fostering inclusion, cultural pride, and collective growth through advocacy, collaboration, and community-driven initiatives.
Shova Lamsal is Vice-President of Didibahini Women’s Network Australia (DWNA) and has volunteered with the organisation since 2017. She completed a Master of Social Work at Monash University in 2016. Shova works in specialist family violence and child wellbeing sectors as a Practice and Team Leader, providing guidance to promote safety for women, children, and families affected by violence, abuse, neglect, and trauma. She also supervises students and practitioners, supports self-care, and values collaboration to empower communities through targeted programs and holistic community-based interventions nationwide
Dr. Brinda Shrestha is a senior Project and Program Delivery
Leader with over 20 years of experience delivering complex
digital, lending, and remediation programs within the
Banking sector. She holds a Doctorate in Project Leadership,
bringing a strategic, evidence-based approach to
governance and delivery. Since 2023, Brinda has volunteered
with DWNA and currently serves as Secretary on the DWNA
Executive Committee (2026–2028). She is deeply committed
to women’s empowerment, inclusive leadership, and
building capability for sustainable impact.

As a Research Nurse at the University of Melbourne, Reeta Lamichhane brings a wealth of experience in public health from her extensive work in both Nepal and Australia. At the Peter Doherty Institute, she spearheads multiple projects focused on antimicrobial studies. Reeta's academic journey reflects her dedication to public health, holding a Master of Public Health (Epi & Bio) from Curtin University, which she completed with a full scholarship from Australia Awards. She later earned a Master of Nursing Science from the University of Melbourne, and is now heading to the PhD pathway.
